Guidelines for Whitehall Pickleball Club

Welcome to the Whitehall Township Pickleball Courts. If you have any questions on court rotation, please ask other players. Enjoy your time with us!

North Courts – Open Play All Levels 9AM – 12 PM Everyday.
• If courts are not full during Open Play Hours, a 2 on 2 off rotation system should be
used unless 3 or more players are waiting. Once 3 or more players are waiting, a 4 on 4
off rotation system should be used. This same system should also be used once the
courts become full.
• A foursome MAY NOT proceed onto an open court until the NEXT UP space on the
paddle rack has been filled. Please do your part to fill any open spots in the NEXT UP
space in order to keep play moving.
• If the North Courts become full during Non-Open Play Hours, the paddle rack should
be used for a 4 on 4 off rotation.
• Individuals or groups of less than 4 players should not expect to mix in if the courts are
full during Non-Open Play hours.
• The North Courts are reserved for drills on Friday mornings between 8 – 9am. Please

sign up.
Fischer Courts – Self Organized Group Play
• If courts are not full, groups of any size can stay together on the court(s) for as long they
would like.
• If courts are full, the paddle rack should be used for 4 on 4 off rotation on all 6 courts.
When Court 1 is being utilized as a challenge court it has it’s own posted rules.
• Individuals or groups of less than 4 players should not expect to mix in on these courts.
• Individual players are always welcome to mix in with players on the North Courts during
dedicated Open Play Hours.
All courts are designated for doubles play anytime the courts are full.
PLEASE have your group ready to go when next available court is open.
PLEASE practice the universal pickleball etiquette of being welcoming, inclusive, and
making pickleball play enjoyable for all.
